It’s been like this the past three days and I’m ready to pull my hair out (At least the view from our room is pretty rad, eh?)
So, what have I been doing indoors? I have been brewing up ideas for our bedroom. I do not want to spend any more mulah on furniture and we have yet to buy a headboard. I have decided to create my own somehow… and these are some ideas I have come up with:

I thought the pillow headboard was creative, but I know if I tried to pull it off it would look way tacky. What are your thoughts? Any ideas? You would think that decorating is in my blood since mamma Debs is so talented… but don’t be fooled! I need help.
Wish me luck! I will keep you posted.

As we close out the Bella Life’s focus on the bedroom I thought that I would share with bedrooms that inspire me to…
Use more fabric-on everything!
Display my favorite vintage items…
Put more romantic things on my nightstand…
Have a fireplace in my master bedroom-even though I live in Arizona…
Hang double chandeliers on the sides of my bed…
Have bedding that I can lay down on whenever I want…
Have a fabric headboard that I can change out when I’m bored….
Or splurge and have an incredibly ostentatious headboard and footboard that I’d never consider getting rid of…
Use mirrors instead of artwork by the bed…
Make sure that my bedroom is my personal space to go to for inspiration, romance and relaxation.
Happy Decorating!

When my husband and I got married we were lucky enough to have the majority of our furniture given to us. Debs has 2 storage rooms full of furniture which she has allowed my siblings and me to roam through and grab from. The bed which Michael and I have in our master bedroom is a really whimsical rod iron bed. The bed is pretty, but there is a problem. It’s only a queen. You might be thinking- what is wrong with a queen size bed??? Well let me tell you…my husband likes to throw elbows while he sleeps. He says he does it on accident, but his aim is just too good. Without fail he always gets me in the eye. So to preserve my face, I have decided we need to purchase a king sized bed. Michael says he agrees with me, but then follows that statement with 5 reasons why it wouldn’t work. (Suspicious?) One of his many objections was that we wouldn’t have a headboard! Blasphemy! So I started researching different headboard ideas. Check them out.

Do you think I could convince my husband to “brickify” my bedroom wall? I wish. So many great ideas, now I just need to buy a king size mattress. Wish me Luck. If you want to donate to the Keighley Eye Relief Fund, let me know.
