I’m dreaming of a Colossal Cable Christmas…
A close friend and I always jokingly talk about how we wish our lives were more Anthro! It seems everyone wants to be Anthro these days. I have such a love/hate relationship with Anthropologie. When I walk into the store I can’t help being stunned by all the amazing colors, and merchandise displays. SERIOUSLY, who does those displays!!!!? (Yes the displays are worth four exclamation points.) I walked through the store staring at all the amazing displays for about an hour. Wowza… it can really make a girl feel untalented. Anyways back to my love/hate relationship. Every girl I know talks about Anthropologie this and Anthropologie that. It drives me crazy. Unfortunately when I walked into the store this weekend to browse I became one of those girls. I saw this amazing Colossal Cable Throw at the end of a bed and my heart melted. I drooled. I pouted. I touched. Then I walked away. Even though I didn’t buy this absurdly crocheted blanket, I left wishing my life was a little more Anthro.
CRAP.
