Are you looking for a healthy snack idea? What about making this simple on-the-go snack mix. My mixing together a few simple ingredients you’ll have a healthy snack on hand all week long.
INGREDIENTS:
- Mix 4 cups of Cheerios cereal
- 2 cups of pretzels (oyster crackers or popcorn are great alternatives)
- 1/2 cup of peanuts (if you need a little pick me up, add a few peanut covered M&Ms)
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
Scoop up 1/2 cup (100 calories) for a snack. Store the remainder in an airtight container.
This recipe makes 14 servings of 1/2 cup.
