The Bella Life Blog is pleased to announce their very first “little” giveaway.

We are continually trying to add beautiful touches and improvements to our blog.  In order to accomplish this, The Bella Girls need a “little” feedback from you!  So please take a “little” time to leave a “little” comment to let us know what you like about our blog, or what you think could be “Bella-fied”. (Our comment link is located below the Titles of each post)

All Bella Friends who leave a “little” comment will be entered into our “Vintage Milk Glass Vase” giveaway. (This giveaway ends at 11:59 pm on Tuesday night {that’s Sept. 8th}).

I was very impressed with your blog when I first was referred by a friend on facebook. I wanted to tell all my friends about it. I love the variety of subjects that you cover and the many writers that you have. It doesn’t get boring that way. There are excellent decorating ideas that have really made me think about what I want to do with my home. I’ve tried some of the recipes and that was fun. The story by Keighly was hilarious but I would like to see the whole story in one place so I could send it on to my friend. I’ve cut and pasted two segments now but it would be helpful to have the whole story in one place. You could maybe put more “Great Find” ideas and more ideas for Children on your blog. I love your links to other websites.

Hi Michelle!

Thanks for being the first one to comment! Awesome feedback! We will definately incorporate all of those suggesstions into our blog. We’ll pull Keighley’s saga into one spot and let you know when it’s up.

Thanks again,
Camberley

I love the blog girls. It defintly makes you get inspired to decorate or work on new projects! I think it would be great if there was even more stories, pics and examples (instead of just magaizes) of your own personal bella lifes! So then we could also know maybe more detail of where everything is from or that we could even handle the project on our own because you did it!

P.S. ALWAYS MORE WEDDING PIC IDEAS ARE THE BEST!!! :)

Marta September 2, 2009

Ladies, I love the blog and have felt “included” enough to comment. I sent Debbie a recipe, but don’t know if she got it. I would like to see it published maybe just once daily as it takes up a lot of fb space or perhaps you have a suggestion on how to delete old articles without deleting the blog. I love the recipes, anecdotes and stories. I’m sold!

debbie September 2, 2009

Hi Marta! I did get the recipe and I’ve shared it with the other Bella Girls. We are going to publish it in the near future. Thanks so much for sharing. I’m not sure how to solve your fb dilemma-hopefully Cammie-our technical Bella Girl can give you some suggestions. Deb

debbie September 2, 2009

Melissa-I agree! We are in the process of doing our own photography which will include pictures of our own homes, our decor ideas, or Bella Girls field trips and more. And since I’m the one in charge of the wedding I will make sure that we have more of these on the blog. Thanks for your suggestions. Deb

Less stock photos/magazine spreads and more actual photos from real houses! I feel intimidated when I see magazine shots that I KNOW have been adjusted/altered by the photographer and editor. The people who actually live in those spaces do not live in them the way they are presented. That’s why I read blogs, I like to see real rooms, clutter, dog hair and all!

keighley September 3, 2009

Im with you JENNA Z!!! Even being apart of the Bella Girls, my house is faaar from looking like a magazine. I have some pics I will be posting soon of my house. Get ready for a good time. {Hopefully you wont all laugh at my attempts to beautify my home.}

camberley September 3, 2009

Hi Jenna!

Your feedback is much appreciated. I love the comment about “dog hair” since this is a real part of my life ;-) We will start folding in more pictures of “our” lives (i.e. homes, DIY projects, etc.) in the near future.

You have no idea how much I love this blog. I just love when a new post pops up on my fb feed. I love all the decor pictures and decroting ideas from Deb. I am very indecisive and decorating is so hard for me because I like so many styles not sure which one to go with. I like the idea of making inspiration boards for each room. I love all of Camberley’s healthy recipes and have tried a few of them. We are all about eating healthy in my home. And of course, I love hearing all about Keighley’s dramatic life :) She is witty and hilarious. I also like her Goodwill finds too. I agree with Jenna Z and would also like to see more pics of real houses and DIY projects as well as pics from the magazines. Thanks for sharing bella girls!

Camille September 8, 2009

I collect milk glass, so of course I will enter this giveaway!

I adore what you’ve done so far! But one thing I ALWAYS appreciate are seeing things that people use around their homes on a daily basis (i.e. our favourite housecleaning products, or our favourite storage solutions, etc). I don’t know why—I guess just because I’m always looking for the next great thing that will change my life. So, ditto some of the other comments: more personal experience/opinions/gift list ideas. Does that even make sense?

Thanks for the giveaway!

camberley September 8, 2009

Thanks Camille!

I’m still working on the Feedburner RSS feed. That little booger is giving me trouble (insert hair pulling motion). You know how it goes. First, you need to get your hosting service. Then, you need to get your FTP site set up. Once that is done you add your RSS feed. I’ve completed all of those things but, now, I’m lost. (I have so much to learn). Anyways, I’m going to focus my attention on the next step this weekend. Hopefully we’ll be up in google reader soon. Pray for me. ;-)

Shalyce September 9, 2009

C – You are in Google Reader. I’m subscribed to you. Feedburner is separate from Google Reader. If you need help let me know, Ky has my digits.

I agree with everyone else. I like more real life diy projects and want to see real homes before and afters.

camberley September 9, 2009

Hi Shalyce-

Thanks for the heads up! I think my hang up is that I registered us in feedburner so we could use Google Reader, but I can’t get the feedburner plugin properly installed. I’ll definately be giving you a jingle soon.

NEVERMIND – I just figured it out. Total blonde moment!
