I love snacks. I snack all day long. Since I am a huge snacker, I’m constantly looking for healthy snack ideas that will allow me to mix it up.
Real Simple is a great resource for healthy snack ideas. They have a whole section Titled “9 Helathy Predinner Snacks“. However, I don’t just limit myself to eating their snack recipes between lunch and dinner. Sometimes, I break these yummies out between breakfast and lunch. I’m sure you will too!
Here is my rendition of their “Cashew-Strawberry Crunch”

Ingredients:
- Triscuits or Sprouted Wheat Bread (I like Ezekiel’s Bread)
- 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter (or Peanut Butter)
- 1/2 Tablespoon Honey
- Sliced Strawberry (or Banana)
Spread almond butter and honey on top of Triscuit. Layer with Strawberries or another topping of your choice (like bananas).
