Here is another quick, easy and healthy breakfast recipe your little ones will enjoy.  This is one of those recipes you can easily switch up.  For example, if your child doesn’t like berries, add bananas!  You could also add a few chocolate chips or vanilla wafers and call it dessert! Here’s how it goes:

Yogurt and Fruit Parfaits

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups non fat yogurt (I like to use raspberry or vanilla.  Use what you like)
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries (you may use frozen strawberries if you’d like)
  • 1 pint fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries or blackberries)
  • 1 cup granola (I like to use granola from Fresh & Easy)

Directions:

Combine strawberries and fresh berries. Layer 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt into the bottom each of 4 tall glasses. Alternate layers of fruit and granola with yogurt until glasses are filled to the top. Serve parfaits immediately to keep granola crunchy.

Enjoy!
